So based on coverage of the NFL strike versus the CTU strike:
Unions for referees, so they can go back to watching grown men throw balls at one another for fun? RADICAL.
Unions for school teachers, so when they buy school supplies out of their own pockets they can still afford peanut butter crackers for lunch? MEGA FAIL.

Romney vs. Obama and Warren vs. Brown overshadow Brookline’s congressional race, which has Republican Sean Bielat up against Democrat Joe Kennedy to replace the retiring Barney Frank.
Bielat reported having about $66,000 in cash, while Kennedy reported having more than $1.9 million, according to the FEC.

And thank you to everyone who came out for Saturday’s MICE festival in Cambridge! It was great to meet you all, and thanks a ton for showing support!
Also, this is the freebie four-page comic I gave out during the show. It’s random, and it gets randomer.

This is part of my free handout for people who stop by my table at today’s MICE. It’s a reworked assignment from Dave Marshall’s art of the comic book class.
You need to stop by today and see how it ends.

Schools across the country are cutting calories and doubling-down on fruits and vegetables to help students eat right. Or at least, less bad.
But some in Brookline aren’t thrilled with the prospect of more fruits and veggies and fewer piles of chemically-replicated mac and cheese, and school officials swear that the changes aren’t their idea, and they hope the rules change soon.
Which is obviously the responsible approach to take.
